To avoid plagiarism, you are reminded to:

 Use quotation marks for direct quote of other's work         

• Make sure to use the exact wordings of the author and put the quotation in quotation marks. What's more, you must attribute it to the author.

 Paraphrase or summarize other's ideas instead of quote too much

• See the "6 Steps to Effective Paraphrasing" advice from the Online Writing Lab at Purdue University.

 Cite your sources properly & include a reference list in your work

• Decide which citation style to be used in your paper by consulting your course coordinator. Follow the same style throughout the whole paper;
• While working on your assignments, keep clear notes of all the details for each source you have used. This will help you to compile your reference list and minimize the risk of plagiarism.

要避免抄襲，請留意以下事項：

 當直接引述他人論點時，需使用引號「」 

• 直接引述時，需要使用作者所用的字眼，並加上引號標註。最重要是加上內文註腳。

 重新敘述或總結他人的論點避免過多引述

• 可參考圖書館內關於「中文寫作」的書籍，提升寫作能力。    

 註明出處及列出參考書目 

• 在撰寫論文/功課前，應先向老師查詢具體的引文格式要求。在文中無論使用何種格式，必須貫徹使用同一格式；
• 在開始搜集資料時便順道記下資料出處，這樣在列出參考書目時就能避免遺漏，減低被指抄襲的機會。
