What is plagiarism?

Plagiarism : the practice of taking someone else's work or ideas and passing them off as one's own. (Definition from Oxford Dictionary)

Plagiarism occurs when you use the words or ideas of others without acknowledging that you have done so. It is a form of cheating.

Academic integrity

Plagiarism is a very serious offense. If it is found that you have plagiarized -- no matter intentionally or unintentionally -- you may face serious consequences. You may refer to the "Regulations Governing Academic Integrity and Student Discipline" under Registry website.
